1. The Pros- One of the best things about this drone is the technology that it uses. In has technology that allows it to sense obstacles that are located up to 49 feet away. Once it detects these obstacles, it will bypass them or it will hover as it brakes, which can prevent accidents.
Many drones don’t have long flying times. In fact, many drones only fly for about 10 or 15 minutes, but this isn’t the case with the Mavic. In fact, you can fly it for up to 27 minutes, which is a longtime for a drone to fly.
The drone is extremely stable, both indoors and outdoors. You will notice this as soon as you start using it. However, perhaps the best benefit of all is it takes amazing video. If you want a drone that can take amazing videos, then this is the drone you want to get.
Another pro is you should be able to fly for about a mile before the video starts to degrade. This is with numerous of tress in the way. As for going over open water, you should be able to fly for two miles or even more.
Let’s not forget to mention it is tiny. In fact, it is so small that you should be able to put it in your pocket and bring it wherever you go. There’s virtually no setup, which means you can open it up and fly it within the next minute or two.
2. The Cons- One of the downsides is the price. Depending on where you buy it from, you can expect to spend a little over $1,000. This may seem like a lot of money, but remember that it is packed with many great features, so the price is worth it.
Another con is that the drone does have a camera guard and dome, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. However, you might notice that there is a lot of reflection off of it. Don’t worry though because you can remove it and see if this helps.
When compared the the Phantom 4, the Mavic Pro is not as agile. There is a good reason for this, and that’s because it doesn’t weigh nearly as much as the Phantom 4. In fact, it weighs half of it, but nonetheless it’s still quite agile and it is easy to control and use.
