Living on the oceanfront in a tourist city, I can tell you that Labor Day is a great time of the year to plan a vacation. The ocean water here is still warm and is even more beautiful, the summer is over and the kids are back in school. Temperatures have dropped just a little, and in a warm and humid climate, that means everything. If it’s one of the best times of the year to vacation in Myrtle Beach, then you can imagine it’s one of the best times of the year to vacation in many other cities around the US as well.

There are many, and you may have already been to several of them if you like to travel. What do you like to do on Labor Day? Grilling out is a favorite activity, but you can do that in your backyard. Also down south, a little further and out of the country, you have two other Labor Day hot spots, Cancun and Cozumel.
